The Race to End Duchenne is thrilled to once again be a charity partner to this exciting race. We have spots available to fundraise or make a self-donation to join our team.
The Houston Marathon offers participants a unique running experience in America’s fourth largest city. The fast, flat, scenic single-loop course has been tanked as the “fastest winter marathon” and “second fastest marathon overall” by Ultimate Guide to Marathons. It’s also ranked as one of the most crowd-supported marathons.

Fundraise for Registration: $140
Fundraising Minimum Commitment: $750
HERO* (self-donation, no fundraising required): $140 + $350 donation
*HERO Registration gives the runner the opportunity to obtain a guaranteed entry into the Chevron Houston Marathon or the Aramco Houston Half Marathon by purchasing their entry at a reduced price ($140 marathon/$125 half marathon plus processing fees) and making a one-time tax deductible donation of at least $350 to one of the official RFAR charity partners. Additionally, HERO runners will have the opportunity to continue fundraising for their selected charity through a personalized fundraising page. If you have registered for the race lottery, please do NOT purchase an entry through us as you will not be permitted to refund your entry once it’s purchased. If you entered the lottery, wait until after the results are announced before registering here.
